The Southwest ADA Center works with a number of partners and affiliates to accomplish its mission. All partners and affiliates have in depth experience with disability issues and each has specific areas of expertise ranging from making information technology accessible in educational settings to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other disability legislation.
Some affiliates also provide specialized training and/or in-depth technical assistance on disability-related legislation or offer special programs targeted to particular constituencies in their state. Scroll down to find out more about the range services and expertise each offers:

Educational Development Laboratory
A nonprofit education research and development corporation
that creates and provides research-based products and services
to improve teaching and learning.
New Mexico Technology
Assistance Project
Provides training and technical assistance on making information
technology accessible in educational settings.
StarReach Enterprises
Provides training on all titles of the Americans with Disabilities
Act and the nondiscrimination provisions located in Section 188
of the Workforce Investment Act.
Knowbility
Knowbility's mission is to support the independence of children
and adults with disabilities by promoting the use and improving

Increasing Capabilities
Access Network (ICAN)
A program of Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. ICAN helps build
a bridge between people with disabilities who need technology
information and those who provide it.
Arkansas ADA Roundtable
A coalition of individuals, organizations, agencies, businesses
and government entities from around the state who promote voluntary
compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act by providing
training, technical assistance, education and resource provision.
Governor's
Office of Disability Affairs
Part of the Louisiana Governor's Office, the Office of Disability
Affairs provides technical assistance and training on the Americans
with Disabilities Act and the disability discrimination provisions
found in Section 188 of the Workforce Investment Act.
Native
American Outreach Project New Mexico
( Beresford Consulting Services, Inc.)
A technical assistance and training project serving targeted Native
American tribes and pueblos in New Mexico.
New Vistas
Based at a Center for Independent Living, staff coordinates training
and on-site technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities
Act in New Mexico.
Ability
Resources
Based at a Center for Independent Living, expert staff provides
training and technical assistance on all aspects of the Americans
with Disabilities Act.
Oklahoma ABLE
Tech
Provides technical assistance and training on making information
technology accessible in educational settings and promotes systems
change to enhance the provision of, access to and funding for
assistive technology.
